Tottenham v MAN CITY – The PREVIEW: City’s Probable Team

28 Jan

Joe Hart will return in goal after missing the past couple of cup matches, whilst Manuel Pellegrini faces a choice between Martin Demichelis, Matija Nastasic and Joleon Lescott to partner Vincent Kompany. Gael Clichy and Aleks Kolarov are battling it out for a place on the left of defence. Javi Garcia and James Milner are both out injured, but the positive news is that David Silva and Alvaro Negredo are available and should both start.

Alvaro Negredo is 4/1 to score the first goal. Vincent Kompany is 25/1 to do the same. Bet with William Hill here!

Here is the side Pellegrini could select:

Referee: Andre Marriner.

Fancy Sergio Aguero to score first and the game to finish 2-2? William Hill have the cracking odds of 65/1 for that!

Prediction: Tottenham 2 - 2 MAN CITY – Both sides are far better going forward than they are at the back so I guess we’ll see a game full of attacking intent, chances and goals. I’m predicting Sergio Aguero, Alvaro Negredo, Emmanuel Adebayor and Aaron Lennon to get on the scoresheet.

These are the sort of games you need to win if you go for the title. With Arsenal draw, this is the perfect opportunity to go to the top of the table.

The very same City line up I believe most would pick.
Difficult match tonight could go either way a draw would seem likely but if you want to be champions then this is the type of game we must win.
1-1 for me Toure on the score sheet.

Makes me think you don’t believe we will win the league Timothy; nothing wrong with such an opinion but interesting nonetheless
