About

Hello and welcome to View From A Blue: a fresh, insightful and comprehensive blog following the compelling fortunes of the 2011-12 Premier League Champions, Manchester City. Whether it is match previews, player ratings, match analysis, caption competitions or big-name interviews you are looking for, View From A Blue has it and more.

With this blog, I hope to bring you the thoughts, feelings and opinions of a true City fan, one who has suffered the despair and trauma of following the Blues in what is now League One, right through to the present day euphoria of Vincent Kompany lifting the Premier League trophy. Whether it is Paul Dickov’s last gasp goal against Gillingham in 1999, Yaya Touré’s strike against Stoke in 2011 or Sergio Aguero’s dramatic late winner against QPR, View From A Blue has been there.

I hope to convey the wave of excitement and anticipation that is sweeping through our club, with expectations higher than ever before. So sit back, relax and enjoy the View From A Blue!

Finally after many years I get to visit Manchester & am able to see my beloved City for the first time. I am wondering whether any City fans out there will be able to help me acquire a ticket to the Reading game on the 22/12

I am from Melbourne (Aus) & this will be my first EPL game, let alone a City game…

Real Madrid game, very entertaining, however I can’t help feeling that Roberto shouldn’t have dispensed with the services of Nigel De Jong, as last season he prevented penetrating attacks such as those that Madrid threw at us and I believe that he would have prevented much of the progress Real Madrid enjoyed last night!

I am 12 years old. I have been supporting Man City all of my life, and my dad has supported him for 40 years. I love Man City and am so excited about this website. I can’t believe they didn’t win today :( At least they didn’t lose!
    C’MON CITY!
