Hello and welcome to View From A Blue: a fresh, insightful and comprehensive blog following the compelling fortunes of the 2011-12 Premier League Champions, Manchester City. Whether it is match previews, player ratings, match analysis, caption competitions or big-name interviews you are looking for, View From A Blue has it and more.

With this blog, I hope to bring you the thoughts, feelings and opinions of a true City fan, one who has suffered the despair and trauma of following the Blues in what is now League One, right through to the present day euphoria of Vincent Kompany lifting the Premier League trophy. Whether it is Paul Dickov’s last gasp goal against Gillingham in 1999, Yaya Touré’s strike against Stoke in 2011 or Sergio Aguero’s dramatic late winner against QPR, View From A Blue has been there.

I hope to convey the wave of excitement and anticipation that is sweeping through our club, with expectations higher than ever before. So sit back, relax and enjoy the View From A Blue!

Finally after many years I get to visit Manchester & am able to see my beloved City for the first time. I am wondering whether any City fans out there will be able to help me acquire a ticket to the Reading game on the 22/12

I am from Melbourne (Aus) & this will be my first EPL game, let alone a City game…

Real Madrid game, very entertaining, however I can’t help feeling that Roberto shouldn’t have dispensed with the services of Nigel De Jong, as last season he prevented penetrating attacks such as those that Madrid threw at us and I believe that he would have prevented much of the progress Real Madrid enjoyed last night!

I am 12 years old. I have been supporting Man City all of my life, and my dad has supported him for 40 years. I love Man City and am so excited about this website. I can’t believe they didn’t win today :( At least they didn’t lose!

    Hello View from a Blue!

We’re a couple of Australian journalists visiting Manchester, and we’re here to make some videos to promote the start of Premier League to an Australian audience. We figure than a great fan site like yours would be an excellent starting point, you seem like a passionate and articulate supporter!

We’d love the chance to have a chat to yourslf and other Manchester City fans sometime over this weekend, August 3-4, about their passion for the club, the chants, the upcoming season and the place football has in their lives.

Please let me know if you would be keen to meet up with us! we’re staying in Stretford right now, but are happy to travel around Manchester, and would love to meet some real supporters. Even better if we could get a few together with their colours on.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Please in the future try to purchase new players for the club’s success.
    I recommend to buy
    Robert Lewandowski of Borussia Dortmund.
as a way to play suited to city.

    IQBAL from Aceh, Indonesia
    to the honorable MANAGER
    Manuel Pellegrini

I love this club because u see them rise from grass to grace.u see the humbleness of the players and all those connected to man city.

Time to go Pellegrini, same subs every match, no plan b, failure to inspire a half decent team to beat even the likes of Middlesboro in a winnable competition, you are a joke Pellegrini, im not bothering supporting City all the time this clowns in charge.

    Pelligrini out and fast!
