Confirmed Team: No Yaya or Kolo. Richards, Boateng, Milner START
2 Feb
Roberto Mancini has made a number of changes for tonight’s trip to Birmingham. Yaya Touré is not even on the bench, so must be suffering from injury. Thus, James Milner is moved into his favoured central position. Micah Richards has recovered from his knock against Notts County and will line up at right-back, with Jérome Baoteng partnering Vincent Kompany in the centre. That is a move which pleases me and countless other City fans no end! The front three promises much with Tévez, Džeko and Silva all named.
This is the team which Mancini has selected tonight:
Hart
Richards Boateng Kompany Kolarov
de Jong Barry
Milner
Silva Tévez
Džeko
Subs: Given, Zabaleta, Lescott, Kolo Touré, Vieira, Jo, Guidetti

Get rid of Viera, he cannot tackle and will cost us the title
Dave is absolutely right
and I hope nothing bad happened to Micah, we need him as he is our best right back and our 2nd best center back
I agree Vierra every game he plays is too slow and just is not fit to even be playing in the championship anymore. He gives up stupid fouls and the ball almost everytime he touches it
all players should get a fine penalty as big as 1 monthly paycheque. they were unable to pass to each other. no mancini’s fault since there are too many injuries but the players used did their WORST GAME EVER. too bad. the title is gone, 2nd place is gone…we will fight for third or fourth.
veira has got to go and a few others not good enough mancini got to sort denfence out and not scoring enough goals be lucky to finish 5th
the way we are going 5th place sounds good. but with our players and the potential that they have only 1st place is enough. also…another players that the last 2-3 games is out of his normal play is Barry. he is lost in the game…and hart makes mistakes. mancini must change him with given for 1 game so he will not think that he will play every game even if he does not play good enough
Kolarov’s free kick was awesome last night, one of the few bright points in a very poor performance.
I agree with everyone else, not sure how Viera still gets a game, he’d struggle to get in a mid table team. I think Bobby should drop Barry as well, maybe play Milner through the middle.
Where did you get the information from regarding the starting line up please? Useful to know that sort of thing as early as possible for Yahoo Fantasy Football.
Totally agree about Vieira. And when Barry isn’t doing that filling-the-gaps-left-by-others job when they move forward, you have to wonder what he contributes to the creativity of the team.
