MAN CITY v Bayern Munich – The PREVIEW: City’s Probable Team

24 Nov

Manuel Pellegrini’s hand is rather forced with a string of injuries and suspensions, and the only defensive dilemma is whether the Chilean partners Vincent Kompany with Martin Demichelis or Eliaquim Mangala. If the Frenchman gets the nod, it wouldn’t be a huge surprise in turn to see Demichelis appear in central midfield, acting as a shield in front of the back four.

Sergio Aguero is a tempting 7/1 to score the first goal of the game. Get a free bet of up to £25 when you open an account here!

Fernando and James Milner are likely to be the pairing in the middle, with Samir Nasri and Jesus Navas providing attacking thrust, and either Stevan Jovetic or Frank Lampard supporting Sergio Aguero.

Aguero is in great goalscoring form and you can back him at 40/1 to grab the only goal of the match. Bet £10 here and get a free £20 bet!

Here is the side Pellegrini could select:

Manchester City 4-2-3-1 football formation

Referee: Pavel Kralovec.

Prediction: MAN CITY 1 – 2 Bayern Munich – Our German visitors have already qualified and they might be tempted to ease off the gas just a touch, but with the amount of absentees from a City perspective it might just be too difficult an ask for the Blues. I’m predicting goals from Sergio Aguero, Robert Lewandowski and Arjen Robben.

Vincent Kompany will always be a threat from set-pieces and he is a huge 41/1 to grab the opening goal with Paddy Power!

Not feeling confident? Arjen Robben is 6/1 to notch the first goal of the game with William Hill. Bet £10 here and get a free £20 bet!

One of those, head says Munich to win, heart says city. We need to transform in terms of champions league performance to stand any chance

2-0 city. Whenever we’ve played them, and they’ve nothing to play for we beat them.

Keep the faith, City will beat them.

If they want to beat us they will.a magnificent team, if the mood takes them they’ll cut us apart. I’m hopeing for the best, ii be watching behind the sofa – I have little confidence in the team when they play in Europe. Its hughly frustrateting, its up to the boss to get the mentality right. If we start slowly “again” they will murder us….5 nil v Roma after 30 mins’ holy sh*t!!!!!

I have already written off City from Europe qualification this year due to odds being heavily stacked against us [though in my heart I still believe they qualify not in my mind]. Not sure if I watch the game due to the level of frustration in Europe. For what is worth, I do believe they come out with a performance and results that make them walk tall and confidence boost for Saints game.
