New EPL players to keep an eye on

For this special article we teamed up with Tom Woodland an expert on the English Premier League and prediction specialist at FootballPredictions.com.

As before, Premier League clubs have been spending massively in the summer transfer window and a number of new faces will be playing in the English top flight this season. In the article below you will find the list of footballers to keep an eye on in the 2017/2018 EPL campaign.

Alexandre Lacazette

During his spell with Olympique Lyon Alexandre Lacazette was making progress year by year. The 26-year- old attacker impressed in the 2016/2017 Ligue 1 campaign, scoring 28 goals in the French elite division and, as a result, his compatriot Arsene Wenger decided to bring him to Emirates Stadium. Lacazette is a very pacey and powerful attacker and, no doubt, he should adapt to the new surroundings quickly.

Mohamed Salah

Mohamed Salah was brought to Liverpool in order to replace Brazilian ace Philippe Coutinho, who doesn’t want to play for the Reds anymore. The Egypt international returns to the Premier League and he is eager to prove his worth in the English top flight after failing to impress at Chelsea in the 2013/2014 season. The former Roma winger has been producing outstanding performances at the start of the season and it is more than obvious that he is going to play an important role in Jurgen Klopp’s team.

Bernardo Silva

After making it to the Champions League semis with Monaco last term, Bernard Silva decided to take a step forward in his career, with the Portugal international joining big-spending Manchester City in the summer transfer window. The “buble gum footballer” is eager to bring his magic to Etihad Stadium, but seeing that Man City coach Pep Guardiola has a number of top-class midfielders to choose from, it remains to be seen if the 23-year- old player is going to establish himself as a first-team regular at the club.

Alvaro Morata

Over the years, Alvaro Morata has established himself as one of the best centre-forwards in the world football. The Spanish attacker proved his worth at Juventus and he scored 15 goals in 26 league games for Real Madrid last season. However, being in Karim Benzema’s shadow did not suit Alvaro Morata and that is the main reason why he decided to join Chelsea. The 24-year- old striker has been scoring goals for fun at the start of the season and he could be the key to Chelsea’s success in the 2017/2018 Premier League campaign.

Sandro Ramirez

Sandro Ramirez is yet another talented Spanish footballer who decided to move to England. During his spell at Barcelona, the “La Masia” product was hungry for a first-team football and he decided to join Malaga in the summer of 2016. That proved to be a great decision as he scored 14 goals in La Liga for los Boquerones, while providing five assists for his teammates in the 2016/2017 season. Sandro Ramirez, who signed a four-year deal with Everton earlier this summer, is definitely the player to keep an eye on in the 2017/2018 Premier League season, but it remains to be seen if he is capable of producing splendid displays at this level.
