It was good to see it. But after defending Yaya Toure's zombie act Saturday ("had to be exhausted/hurt") and seeing him look entirely a different player a few short days later, it made me think that these he (among others) had indeed stopped playing for Mancini. Sometimes his tactics have been shocking, when we're chasing a game and he neither owns up nor learns from it. And on your point about Milner - yes! The quality of his crossing, shooting and reading of space is getting better all the time. I'd pick him 4th or so on the teamsheet - no small praise in this side! I'm glad mancini is gone as i think his affect had ran out of steam but apparently now reading the sports pages the players are no delighted that Mancini is gone because he was somewhat of a hard taskmaster. Oh Bless, now they can start to actually plat well, i mean it's not like hardworking fans have to fork out a fortune to pay to see these guys play reguarly is it? And know i have read that one player apparently contacted a reporter before the sacking and asked "can we put the champagne on ice yet"? I think our players are good guys but if there is truth to this then they need a wake up call, fair enough I don't think Mancini was the right man for the job any longer, but no wonder if the players adopt this attitude to firm management.
