There was no freaking blue shirt with 15 to 20 yards of Gerrard in all direction before he took his shot. Neither Garcia nor Yaya are box-to-box mid-fileders. We lost most of the battle in midfield, not to mention leaving a lot of space in midfield. Terrible performance, it ruined my weekend! Not only lack of width, but lack of pace, stamina and good fight in the center of midfield from City. Utd bought RVP and, lets face it, they lost out on goal difference last season so sign one of the world best strikers and we off load NDJ and Johnson (shit in big games but makes a difference in the mundane mid table games).
