Mancini should have started with 3-5-2. With all due respect with Saints hard-working team, City should not have played a defensive formation. My father used to tell me if you are too nice to your guest, you find them in landlord seat. 2- David Silva has never taken a penalty in EPL or for Spain. Tevez, Yaya toure or even Joe hard would have had been able to smash the ball 3- The last two goals came from long balls sent from corner and wing. More reason for wing play when City is faced with similar situation much like QPR game. Most of the goals scored by Dezko in last 13 games have been critical ones and City have gone to win the game. 4- Rodwell [despite the fatal mistake] was excellent. However; City should cater for his Youth e.g. Abdul Razak. Rodwell sigining puts future of player like Abdul Razak into question 5- We definitely need wingers! and a quality center back. Credit to saints who put up a great fight considering the resources at their display. I would wish them a great season esp a sweet victory against rags. A few points:

Your guys showed a level of character which will again serve you well toward the title, but some of your blue few will need to take heed and learn to be a little more humble as the season evolves else you could switch people off like that Man'ure lot down the road. No one is crowing that we should have had a penalty, make up your own minds Great game and good luck, we now believe we can compete.
