Yaya has been reported by the disingenuous obfuscators of the media to have decided to retire from International footvball but it hasn't happened yet. DePossi has signed a long contract which makes him leaving Italy a long shot. Javi Martinez would be a good option, he has a sound all round game, is powerful and can pass. He has been playing more the role that Yaya played at Barca but could be effective further forward. Bologna's Gaston Ramirez is also a fine young prospect and worth looking at a bit closer. Siamack, Abdul Razak shows promise but is still a fair way off the level required to be considered a first team player. He was not an unqualified success at his loan spell on the South Coast, in a tough but hardly high powered league. Fernando Gago is old news even though he is only 26. He has returned to RM from a loan deal at Roma where he had moderate success with Roma failing to activate a Euro 7 million buy out clause. We could probably get him for around £5/6m but that reflects how far his career has stalled, IMO he is not City quality these days and probably wasn't when at his best 3/4 years ago. De Rossi would be ideal, but anyone that can make long passes will work.. Pizarro did a good enough job for me. I do not see why we can not integrate Abdul-Razak into our first team as DM. Still gutted we lost Sturridge and we need to integrates promising Youth into the first team more before we lose them. Milner is not a winger and very slow on the wings and he should be played in central midfield. Also signing another attacking mid-fielder would be great.
