Why does bringing on Johnson late in the game waive a big white flag? From what I've seen of him he has more impact late in the game than when he starts and disappears by half time. He has ability, a great left foot and has improved all round this season but the same can be said for Nasri and without knowing he was going to have a stinker in advance he probably looked a better bet than Jonners at 12 noon! Given that he was far from the only person to under hit a pass yesterday and, as GCIMY!!! points out, it was on the half way line and we did manage to get plenty of men behind the ball before the ball finally went into the net.
