City should definately offer him a coaching position due to his influence and the fact that he commands respect but not as a player. We do not want to suffer the same fate that Spurs suffered. We need Yound and fresh blood thorugh out the season. It was not long ago that we were too close to miss our targets due to injury and fatigue. In those moments, even one fast, young, hungry player would make a big difference.

No way. He's good for one more season in my view. He was one of our most important players last year because he sits on the bench, exudes positive vibes and then comes on and steadies the ship when required. Hey, he even comes on and scores goals. I would go so far as to say he was my favourite player last year.

Keep him. Keep him

Definitely right to release him because hes too slow and we need his place free for more young talent, veterans are not the way to go for Champions League clubs.

United have just rid themselves of Van Der Sar, Scholes, Arsenal rid themselves of Veterans, Chelsea will rid themselves eventually and Liverpool have done also.

Without a shadow of doubt Vieira needed to go but i'd do everything to keep him on as a coach, total respect for Mancini but if he lets Vieira go without trying to get him onboard then he has missed a gem.

I agree. Clearly has the respect of everyone in the camp and a player coach role would have been worth a punt for a year. Started off badly but showed his value when he came on against Spurs in particular. Thanks for your contribution Mr Vieira.
