Richards and Boateng are 2 of the 3 best young defenders in the world, along with David Luiz, and we need them on the field

Definitely Boateng’s best position and I agree he should be given a run in the middle of defence with Kompany. Shaun just keeps on disappointing me this season, he really doesn’t stamp any kind of mark on the game any more. Thought Mancini was a bit harsh on Dzeko when Silva and Tevez were not that good either. Good to see Mario back and I just hope that dodgy knee holds up for the rest of the season, we are going to need him.

Reading your player marks recently and these are once again pretty accurate. One exception would be SWP who may as well not have been there, cant pass, cant/wont cross and looses it far too much. A 4.5 at most, time to get rid.

In the light of goals conceded in previous games. Mancini should definitely deploy Boating and Kompany as two CBs. Every time Boating plays as CB he does a far better job than RB. I do not understand why Mancini does not use Boateng as CB despite his consistent great performances as CB.

Richards and Boyata for our RB, Kolarov and Zabalata as LB and Toure and Lescott as alternatives for CB.
