I totally agree with you Alan. I am praying that City don’t take on Rooney. After his performance for England in the World Cup, and his disrespectful attitude generally, I fear he will only bring disruption to a team that at the moment is doing well without him.
I support City because they have a good spirit and are playing really well. Rooney would spoil that for me.

I quite agree,why when we are starting for once to look like we have got the makings of a decent side do we have to go and shoot ourselves in the foot and look to buy him. If we do, we will live to regret it and why would we want rooney when we have carlos!!!!!!!!!!!

Don’t think any of us like him as a person but surely on form one of the best 5 strikers in the world and taking him from United would be like a dagger through their heart (not that they have one)
