To be honest, I doubt he will stay in the team. For Premier League matches, AJ and Milner are bound to return, so Jo is sure to drop out, maybe Silva as well?

I’m actually quite relieved at that news. I didn’t see the goal – I actually chose to look away whenever he was near the ball. His first touch was dire as was his attitude – didn’t run for much off or towards the ball.

Unfortunately, the goal will result in a lengthy run in the team, i fear….

Thanks for that Ricky. Of course Richard Wright, I’m not a professional journalist so clearly any pro would be expected to be of a superior quality to a mere blogger like myself.

Ricky, the Jo marking was actually a mistake. For my first time ever, I tried a shortcut method and clearly it didn’t work!

On the subject of Jo, I did read on another City site (can’t remember which one) that the author thought that there was more chance of Maria von Trapp coming on the pitch and conducting a sing-along than Jo scoring.

Well Mr Wright, might I suggest that you bugger off. This review (along with all the other posts on this site) is written by a true fan with absolute passion for the club and the game. If thaat doesn’t satisfy you, please refer to the aforementioned sugestion.

As for the review, as good as ever – although, Jo, 9?!?!?! Can i have whatever you’re on?
It was always going to be a grafting game early on, fortunately we did the hard work – bagging a goal in the process – and the result was in no doubt from there.
